I work on location rather than from a fixed studio. That means I come to you: your office, workplace, home, or a suitable outdoor setting nearby.
Coverage includes Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ringwood, Ferndown, Sandbanks, Canford Cliffs, Wareham and the wider Dorset area, as well as Hampshire for the right commission. Previous shoot locations include Bournemouth University, Poole Quay, the BIC area, the East Cliff business district, Westbourne, and countless offices, meeting rooms and homes across the county.
For team shoots, coming to your premises keeps the logistics simple and minimises disruption to everyone’s day. Most office spaces work well with a portable set-up, and I’ll advise in advance on what will be most suitable.
How long does a headshot shoot take?
A solo shoot typically runs between 30 and 40 minutes. Team shoots depend on numbers. I would usually allow around 2 to 3 minutes per person for a straightforward team shoot and will give you a realistic time estimate when you get in touch.
What should I wear?
Plain, well-fitted clothing tends to work best. Avoid loud patterns, heavy logos or anything that distracts from your face. I will send you a short brief before your shoot with practical guidance, including background colour considerations if you have specific branding.
How quickly will I receive my images?
Edited, high-resolution images are typically delivered within a few working days. For urgent requirements, faster turnaround is usually possible. Just let me know when you enquire.
Are these suitable for LinkedIn?
Yes. LinkedIn headshots and corporate portraits make up a large part of what I photograph. The framing and edit are optimised to work at both profile thumbnail size and larger display formats. Several clients have come to me specifically because their previous headshots did not translate well to the platform.
Can I have both studio-style and natural-light shots in the same shoot?
Yes, this is possible. Many clients prefer a mix: a cleaner, more formal shot for official use alongside something more relaxed for social media or bio pages. I will discuss your needs in advance so we make the most of the time and locations.
Do you work with individuals as well as corporate teams?
Both regularly. Corporate headshots, team shoots and individual professional portraits are all regularly commissioned. Freelancers, founders, independent business owners and creatives also make up a significant part of my headshot work. You do not need a team or a corporate brief to book a shoot.
