The Commission

Documenting the energy of Creative Kids, Bournemouth

Creative Kids is a Bournemouth-based children’s charity running activities, cinema screenings and creative workshops for young people across the area. The commission covered multiple shoots across their events, capturing children and staff in a natural, documentary style throughout.

The brief was to document genuine moments: real energy, real emotion, real interactions. An unobtrusive approach from start to finish, with the focus on the children’s engagement and the positive spirit of everything Creative Kids does.

The Photographic Approach
