The Commission
Documenting real energy at Snowtrax, Christchurch
Snowtrax in Christchurch is a unique leisure activities centre and ski retail destination in Dorset. The commission required commercial lifestyle photography across their venue, covering both the retail environment and the wide range of slope and outdoor activities on offer.
The goal was to create a varied image library of staff and guests in action, capturing the energy, enjoyment and character of the Snowtrax experience for use across the website, social media and wider advertising materials.

Creative Process
The photography was built around the experience of being at Snowtrax, rather than simply recording the activities on offer. Coverage moved between the slopes, outdoor areas and retail spaces, looking for natural moments of concentration, enjoyment and interaction as they happened. Fast-moving action needed a responsive, instinctive approach, while the quieter retail and staff images called for the same attention to atmosphere and authenticity. The aim throughout was a lively, varied image library that felt energetic and engaging, while still presenting the venue, team and customer experience in a polished commercial way.

- Dynamic action photography of guests taking part in slope and outdoor activities
- Natural staff and customer interactions across the venue and retail environment
- Imagery that conveyed energy, enjoyment and the character of the Snowtrax experience
- Location and detail photographs showing the wider setting, facilities and retail offer
- An observational, documentary approach throughout, with real moments rather than staged scenarios
Deliverables
- Approximately 100 edited images for use across brand, marketing and advertising materials
- Post-production to refine colour, contrast and overall visual consistency
- Full-resolution image delivery within five working days
- Commercial usage rights across website, social media, print and wider advertising platforms
- Optimised file versions prepared for web, social media and print use
