I was commissioned as a corporate event photographer in London by Airtable to cover their annual London gathering at The Pelligon in Canary Wharf. It was a large-scale event, with close to three hundred clients, colleagues and partners hosted in one of the city’s most architecturally distinctive corporate venues.

The Pelligon is a striking space: glass, clean lines, and views across the water. Coverage ran across the main hall for keynote sessions and panel presentations, and up to the mezzanine level for more focused executive sessions. Each part of the day had its own pace and character.

My approach was documentary throughout: unobtrusive, observant and focused on the real moments as they happened, from the energy of the main floor to the quieter conversations between sessions.

The Pelligon presents some specific photographic challenges. The glass structure shifts light throughout the day, stage lighting layers on top of that, and with a venue this size there is always a lot in motion. Working across multiple spaces, main hall, mezzanine, networking areas, requires a clear plan and the ability to adapt as the day develops.

For Airtable’s event, the brief was a complete photographic record: keynote speakers, executive sessions, branded moments, networking and the atmosphere of the venue itself. Images intended for internal communications, LinkedIn, event marketing and future promotional use, all produced without interrupting the flow of the day.

If you are planning a corporate event in London and looking for an experienced conference or corporate event photographer, get in touch. I work across Canary Wharf and London, tailoring the coverage to suit your brief, your guests and the purpose of the event.

What the coverage included

Coverage spanned the full arc of the day: wide establishing shots of the venue, keynote speakers and audience moments in the main hall, panel presentations, executive sessions on the mezzanine, networking, informal guest interactions and event branding details throughout.

The aim was to document both the scale of the event and the more human detail within it. The two together are what make corporate event photography genuinely useful, for press, internal comms, social, sponsor visibility and future event promotion.
