I love photographing weddings, with so many special moments to capture, it is always an honour and privilege to document and share the couple’s biggest day in their lives.

My style and approach to wedding photography comes from my many years experience as a professional photographer and photojournalist documenting people and events across the UK and internationally.

Documentary wedding photographer

As a documentary wedding photographer, I approach wedding photography from the position of an observer, through a reportage style, photographing unobtrusively. I like to provide photographs that truly tell the story of the wedding day celebration, the beauty and love, all the smiles, tears and joy.

We can of course arrange for any organised group photos and portraits which can be as formal, quirky or fun as you would like, this is entirely your choice. I do like to try and keep this part of the coverage as enjoyable and efficient as possible, so that there is minimum interruption.

I tend to work with available light to capture all the atmosphere and this also helps to not disturb the natural events as they unfold, this is a skill that I have developed over many years working as a photojournalist. Fast reactions and being able to anticipation what will happen next allows me to get into the right position to capture the key moments.
