Willemijn and Clint opted to have a destination wedding and chose rural Dorset. The couple are from the Netherlands and invited their close friends and family to celebrate at The Manor House, Moreton.
They fell in love with the enchanting manor house and picturesque gardens and chose this location to have an outdoor wedding ceremony in the walled garden followed by a marquee wedding reception in the grounds. This quaint 18th-century manor house has so much character and charm, surrounded by the tranquilly and beauty of the Dorset countryside.
In typical British fashion, the summer weather was rather drizzly with heavy showers; however this did not dampen any spirits or spoil the occasion. Live music during the ceremony and drinks was performed by The Coasters and a rather funky 1920’s New Orleans style jazz band, the Doolally Tap had everyone dancing all night long.
Willemijn looked stunning, her hair and makeup styled like a classic movie star by the Amazing Face team, and so glamours in her Enzoani Blue Collection wedding dress. Clair Lythgoe styled and produced the gorgeous bridal bouquet and flower decorations.
They are two wonderful people and their wedding was full of love, jubilation and so many special moments; it was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Thanks again for having me along to document all the excitement, and thank you for the gift of delicious Dutch biscuits!
