Here’s the last instalment from this very quaint village wedding in Dorset. The couple arranged to use Thorner’s Community Hall which is located in the village of Litton Cheney. This isn’t the type of village hall that you would imagine it to be, the hall is a modern, light and airy, contempoary building with epic views over rolling fields in the Dorset countryside. Even I was overwhelmed by how amazing this location is as a Dorset wedding venue.
This wonderful village fate themed wedding reception was created and produced all by Roxy’s very talented family. Roxy, Adam and family set up the village hall the day before the wedding day. During the evening celebration a rock band entertained the guests, in which Rox’s Dad is the drummer. A real family affair.
Fantastic day and a wonderful celebration of marriage for a lovely couple. Here are a small selection of images taken during the wedding reception and evening celebration:
It was fabulous to have tasted some of this amazing food and I can confirm Rox’s Mom makes the best lemon drizzle cake ever!
Rox is a teacher at a local school, the children she teaches made some cards for here which were displayed in the entrance hall of the village hall.
Adam had 2 bestmen, so they both had the opportunity to tell some stories..
It’s not usual to see the Bride on her wedding day in the kitchen helping out with the washing up.
Just wanted to say a big thanks again for being made to feel very welcome and for all the lovely food.
