I like to offer all my couples the opportunity to have wedding portraits taken in addition to the documentary wedding photography. These can be arranged during the wedding reception when it fits in with the rest of the day, taking advantage of good lighting and sunsets.
With any wedding photography poses I always seek to produce images that are faithful to the couple. As a wedding photojournalist my aim and passion is to supply wedding photos that capture the true essence of the marriage and celebration. Bride and groom poses are kept as natural as possible to capture individual personalities and the love between them.
I am mindful that people are different and during a pre wedding shoot I am able to get to know the couple and how they are together. This is a great way to prepare for any wedding portraits so they can be kept relaxed, informal, fun or quirky to suit the couple.
Wedding portraits: bride and groom
These wedding portraits were taken during a Dorset country wedding. Rebecca the bride looked so elegant and beautiful in her vintage wedding dress and Ashley very handsome in his wedding suit. We took full advantage of the late evening light and sunset over the Dorset countryside. It’s fantastic to be a Dorset wedding photographer with so many beautiful locations to photograph.
