I met up with Jemma and Jamie yesterday for their pre wedding shoot in the picturesque Dorset village of Corfe. I’m due to photograph their wedding celebration in a few weeks which takes place in the characteristic rustic barn of Kingston Country Courtyard. I originally met them both last year when I was Roxy and Adam’s wedding photographer, when Jemma was Roxy’s bridesmaid, now their rolls swap.
They live not far away in Dorchester and have always loved the charm and tranquility of Corfe Village. Jemma and Jamie describe themselves as ‘slightly awkward’, I think they both exude fun, are very charming together and one of their endearing qualities is giggly shyness which was wonderful to capture.
We explored the village, took in the sights and checked out the smallest town hall in England that has also houses an extremely small museum. We caught up with the wedding plans in one of the quaint Dorset country village pubs, which has a fantastic view of Corfe Castle from the pub garden.
Jamie is a musician and will be performing live at his wedding alongside his dad and other friends. It’s going to be a very vibrant and talented wedding celebration. I’m excited about being their wedding photographer and very much looking forward documenting their big day!
