When I heard that the groom, his bestman and usher were all cycling from Poole to Corfe village in Dorset, I made sure I arrived early to capture this moment. It’s quite a rare site on a wedding day! Ashley and his friends are keen cyclists, I admire their spirit, what a energetic way to start your wedding day.
Rebecca and the bridal party were just up the road at Kingston Country Courtyard where the wedding reception was held. I made my way over to seem them and left the guys drinking their champagne.
Here are some of my favourite documentary wedding photos from the morning:
This view is taken on route to Kingston, the church in the distance is where they married, St James’ Church, Kingston.
The views from Kingston Country Courtyard are fabulous, with rolling fields of the Dorset countryside and Corfe Castle in the distance.
Vintage sports car belonging to Rebecca’s Dad. What a fantastic wedding car!
This photo is taken shortly after Rebecca’s very proud father entered the room after putting on her wedding gown.
It was real pleasure to document the morning wedding day preparations, beautiful people, a joy to be around. More documentary wedding photography to follow soon from the wedding ceremony at St James’ Church and reception at Kinston Country Courtyard.
