At the weekend I was documenting a wedding in north Dorset on a family run farm in Sherborne where Abi & Chris had their wedding celebration. The marriage took place not far up the road in Somerset at a very quaint and picturesque village church in Compton Pauncefoot. The weather was perfect and the surrounding countryside so beautiful and idyllic for this very relaxed rural wedding.
Being on the farm had such a pleasant atmosphere, the country bird song, the sense of nature and so wonderful to be around the animals. Abi and family all got ready on the farm where the marquee had been set up by the farm house. A big thanks to Abi’s Mom for the treats, Earl Grey tea and home made cake.
Following the Somerset wedding, a farm style Sunday roast was served with home made cakes. The couples wedding cake had been skilfully decorated with a very intricate story of the couple and farm wedding, absolutely amazing. After the first dance there was some very passionate dancing from all age groups! And during the last hour of sunset an epic sky appeared as we had a stroll over the fields and the cows became official wedding guests.
A BIG congratultions to MR&MRS Kingsbury! Thanks for having me along to document all the joy of your very special day.
