Following Megie and Matt’s marriage in Bournemouth they had a wonderfully personal and DIY wedding reception, held in a very unique wedding reception venue. Friends and family helped set up the venue and organise the proceedings. A bouncy castle was hired, great wedding entertainment for both kids and adults. One of Matt’s friend’s is a professional DJ, so he set up his kit for music throughout the day.
The venue chosen is not usually used for wedding receptions, when the couple found it they thought it was perfect as it was light and airy being an old converted church. I think the space chosen for a wedding very much sets a vibe, with high volted ceilings and large stained glass windows making an epic space, allowing everyone to feel free and enjoy themselves. There was a fantastic party vibe throughout the wedding reception. Everyone had so much fun, a true celebration.
Dinner consisted of fish and chips and home made desserts, thanks for feeding me. The speeches were both humorous and heartwarming. Following on from the first dance there was lots of dancing, late into the night. I wish Megie and Matt all the best for their future together as a family.
