Jemma and Jamie got married yesterday at Kingston Country Courtyard in rural Dorset. I first met the couple when I photographed Roxy and Adam‘s wedding last year when Jemma was Roxy’s bridesmaid, the favour has now been returned.
Although it was a traditional wedding day, with a marriage ceremony, speeches, cake cutting and first dance it didn’t feel like a wedding day. In fact it was more like a mini music festival with friends and family enjoying the sunshine. I’m in awe of the momentous fun, overall awesomeness and superbly relaxed atmosphere. The couple had numerous live bands, which included the groom and bestman, playing a range of acoustic music. With so many talented friends and family this was a wonderfully personal musical experience.
The entire day was held at Kingston Country Courtyard, the wedding ceremony was outside in the courtyard, the wedding reception in the barn and the couple both got ready here too. It made everything flow very easily adding simplicity and to the relaxed mood. I’m so chuffed to have been their Dorset wedding photographer and given the honour of documenting this epic event.
BIG congratulations to MR&MRS Parker!!
