Jemma and Jamie got married last month at Kingston Country Courtyard in Dorset. It was a lovely day, sunny and warm, ideal for their outdoor wedding ceremony. The couple had put allot of work into the DIY elements for the wedding decorations and entertainment. Jamie, his bestman and Dad were just setting everything up in the courtyard for the civil ceremony. When Jamie was getting ready in his room Jemma arrived with her Mom and bridesmaid, they went into the barn to check out the wedding reception preparations. The flowers for the table decorations were all grown by the couples family and friends.
The girls got ready in the bridal room which is situated just across the courtyard where they were getting married. Jemma’s looked so elegant and beautiful in her Alfred Angelo lace wedding dress. The layout of Kingston Country Courtyard and with everything happening at the one venue, is lovely to photograph. There’s a great intimacy and relaxed feel which was perfect for this Dorset country wedding.
I could see Jamie getting a bit nervous as Roxy, Jemma’s bridesmaid, came out of the room followed shortly by Jemma and her Dad. The walk around the courtyard, Jamie’s reaction and the walk up the isle of the outdoor wedding ceremony was a fantastic documentary wedding photography sequence to capture.
There were allot of smiles from the couple during the ceremony. A very happy MR&MRS Parker. A drinks reception was held in the rear garden which overlooks the rolling Dorset countryside and Corfe Castle. Spectacular views and perfect for some relaxed wedding portraits.
