Reportage and documentary wedding photography in Bournemouth & Poole, Dorset
What a fantastic day, after a touching wedding ceremony in the Italian Villa and champagne reception in the Italian Gardens, it was time for some group photos that Ellie & Tom requested. I’ve included just a couple of organised photos, one in particular from a series of Ellie’s friends who were allot of fun to photograph. We then took advantage of the Japanesse gardens at Compton Acres for some very picturesque and romantic bride and groom couple photos.
Following the traditional speechs one of the young bridesmaids (and her even younger sister) also wanted to say a few words. She was handed the mic and very cutely congratulated Ellie & Tom and asked everyone to give them a round of applause.
The sun was setting and everyone was enjoying the relaxed surroundings, lots of laughter and people having a good time making for great, natural moments to capture. The children were playing in the gardens and started to race each other around the water. Then it was the adults turn for their 50m sprint! Maybe this could be a new wedding craze for 2012?
Ellie & Tom are a lovely couple, it was an absolute pleasure and honour to have been chosen as their wedding photographer. I wish them all the best for the future and their newborn son Finley.
Here are some of my favourite photos from the wedding reception:
