Reportage and documentary wedding photography in Poole, Dorset
The Italian Villa at Compton Acres is such a beautiful place to get married in Poole and is probably one of the most prestigious wedding venues in Dorset. I arrived early just before everyone else, it was so hot outside everyone made their way swiftly into the air conditioned wedding ceremony venue.
Baby Finley arrived all dressed up in his wedding outfit. Tom was very calm when I had met up with him earlier in the day, but became overwhelmed with emotion as he arrived. His Dad (and Bestman) was their to support him, he took him to the bar for a stiff drink before the ceremony. I really felt for him, such a big day, with all the build up of excitement and nervous anticipation.
There is a great moment of a very proud father walking her daughter up the isle. It was a touching and emotional ceremony, tears all round finishing with a round of applause. In contrast I photographed a very smiley and happily relieved married couple as they walked out the venue.
The Italian Villa is set in Compton Acres Italian gardens, with water features and statues, the garden is a picturesque and tranquil place ideal for wedding reception drinks.
Here is some of my favourite moments captured from the Italian Villa wedding ceremony:
