This intimate wedding took place in the historic town of Wimborne Minster in Dorset. Kristy initially contacted me from her home in Greece in search of a reportage wedding photographer. She explained that her family are all from Dorset and her finance George is from Greece. They met when George was studying over here and have been lovers since, living together in Greece for many years.
The civil wedding ceremony was held at the Town Hall, which is a magnificent 19th Century grade II listed building. The wedding reception was just down the road at the intimate and lovely Number 9 restaurant.
George’s Greek family arrived first. It was a lovely marriage followed by some traditional Greek wedding customs. All will be made clear in the reportage wedding photography.
Here’s the photo story of their marriage..
George’s Greek family had come prepared with bags of rice as is the Greek custom to shower the newly married bride and groom with rice. As you can see from the photos they ensured their custom was fulfilled in good form.
Kristy and George are an adorable and charming couple. It was an honour to meet their family and friends and to be chosen as their wedding photographer. I wish them all the best for their future together. This wedding documentary continues with more reportage wedding photos from their wedding reception soon..
