After a dull start to the day the clouds began to break and the sun shined ready for the marriage of Amy and James at Highcliffe Castle in Dorset. This premier Dorset wedding venue is an idyllic location for a marriage ceremony, with beautiful grounds and 18th Century architecture, it is both picturesque and a romantic setting. As a wedding photographer this is one of my favourite Dorset wedding venues to photograph.
The wedding guests had just started to turn up at the Castle. I was awaiting the imminent arrival of the Groom, James, his bestman and ushers.
The Groom’s father was on hand to video the ceremony.
As all good bestmen will have.. an emergency bag on hand for all necessary supplies for the Groom.
James had his fingers crossed when the question was asked “should anyone here present know of any reason…”, there were a few laughs from the guests, but all was fine.
It was a fabulous ceremony, so much emotion, joy and good humour. Big congratulations to Amy & James.
More reportage wedding photos to follow soon from Highcliffe Castle including beach shenanigans, also coverage of the wedding reception at the exclusive Royal Motor Yacht Club in Sandbanks, Poole.
