Sarah and Simon’s wedding took place in Bridport in Dorset and there were 3 parts to this epic day, the marriage, a celtic handfasting ceremony and a festival themed wedding celebration. The very intimate and wonderfully personal marriage took place early morning at the Mountfield in Bridport with 6 guests. Then the newlywed couple went their separate ways to get ready for the celtic handfasting ceremony which was to take place in a marquee at Symondsbury Manor, a historic manor house in the heart of rural Dorset.
The festival themed wedding was inspired by Simon’s work as he runs a production company specialising in large music events. This came in handy to organise the wedding and everyone involved where friends making this a very personal day. Unfortunately some of the typical festival weather made an appearance, however there was lots of shelter inside the marquee and manor house.
Wedding entertainment included a string quartet, a skittle alley, giant connect 4 and a disco. The day had so much emotion it was wonderful to experience and document. I’m honoured to have been able to share Sarah and Simon’s epic wedding day. Big congratulations to MR&MRS Barrington!!
