Weddings are full of passion and as the day unfolds there are many opportunities to document passionate embraces. Particular moments when these take place are when family and friends first meet, after the wedding ceremony and especially during the evening celebrations. By documenting a wedding day through reportage photography it is possible to capture all the real emotion and action.
Here are a few of these moments that I have photographed as reportage wedding photographer:
This documentary wedding photo was taken during the morning wedding day preparations, when the Bride’s Grandad first came into the room after getting changed into his wedding suit.
This reportage wedding photo was taken outside Bournemouth Town Hall registry office. The groom’s best friend hugs him passionately.
This candid wedding photo was taken outside the church as the wedding guests started to arrive. Some of the family have not seen in other for many years, it was a joyful and touching moment to capture.
This real wedding photo was taken during the evening wedding reception at the Sandbanks Hotel in Dorset. A best friend and the Bride and Groom have a passionate embrace.
This reportage wedding photo was taken shortly after the first dance. A lovely candid moment taken unobtrusively from across the dance floor.
