During my work as a documentary wedding photographer, I get see a wide variety of wedding cars and all sorts of wedding transport, from vintage wedding cars to mopeds, tractors to horse drawn carriages. Popular wedding cars are a Rolls Royce Phantom, Silver Cloud and the Bentley classic. Vintage wedding cars include VW Camper Vans which are popular in Dorset and classic muscle cars like the Lincoln Continental. Alternative wedding transport that I have photographed include the groom arriving on a moped and the bride arriving on a tractor.
If you are seeking wedding transport ideas I hope this gives you some inspiration..

This next wedding car is a classic vintage Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, this was photographed at a wedding near Chichester.

Vintage wedding cars
Classic VW Campers with a vintage feel are really popular. This VW Camper wedding car was photographed at a Dorset country wedding that had a vintage village fate theme.
This vintage style wedding car is a Badsworth, the back of the vehicle is convertible. Photographed outside St James’ Church in Poole.
This gold coloured classic Lincoln Continental is an alterative wedding car with vintage appeal.
Alterative wedding transport
It’s always fun as a documentary wedding photographer to photograph unique and alternative weddings. This wedding took place in the New Forest, Hampshire and the couple are scooter enthusiasts. The groom and best man’s alterative wedding transport were scooters [mopeds].
The local villagers supplied the tractor and helped decorate the cart.
A very different and unusual wedding transport.
