The other day I had the absolute pleasure of being Jo and Ben’s wedding photographer, documenting all the intimacy and fun of their Wiltshire + Hampshire wedding celebration. The marriage was held at the rather splendid St Martin’s Church in Salisbury and the wedding reception at the grand Rhinefield House in the New Forest.
Just after I arrived at the church, the heavens opened with buckets of rain, however no spirits were dampened just a few clothes. After the marriage, which was absolutely lovely, the sun shined specially for Jo & Ben. As Ben is in the Royal Welsh, there was a guard of honour to welcome the newlyweds as they left the church followed by enthusiastic confetti throwing!
On the way to Rhinefield we stopped off in the nearby New Forest to take some creative wedding portraits. We also took full advantage of the beautiful gardens at Rhinefield. The atmospheric candlelit wedding reception was held in the Grand Hall, an epic location with so much character. Traditional speeches followed the wedding breakfast, with so many great moments of humour, love and friendship.
The evening celebrations included lots of dancing, as I left them the dance floor was still full. I wish Jo & Ben all the best for their future together and thanks again for having me along to share in your very special day.
A BIG congratulations to MR&MRS Phillips!
