After updating my camera kit with the Canon EOS 5D mk2 this summer, I have now been using both the Canon 1DS mk3 and Canon 5D mk2 at the same time on some shoots like festivals. Both bodies having 21 million pixel 14bit sensors, ensuring best quality possible, its great advantage saving time changing lenses during busy fast paced live events and lifestyle shoots.
Still getting used to the dial on the 5D, its so different to the 1D series DSLR’s. Would be nice if Canon made a locking button so the dial was protected from accidental turns. The HD video is an awesome addition.
