I was invited up to Birmingham to document a dance music event Clash of the Gods by Godskitchen. The photographic brief was to capture the event atmosphere through lifestyle portraiture and documentary photography, DJ portraits and dancers caught in the action, with special attention on ‘hands in the air’ moments.

The crowd were fantastic to photograph, it was allot of fun with loads of energy. Events like this offer many challenges with extreme lighting conditions and fast paced action. Distinctive post production techniques have been used to enhance the scene and achieve the best possible results.
