Was on location at Sandbanks yesterday evening for Simon and Vix pre wedding shoot. Had a lovely time, great couple. Was lucky enough to get an epic sunset, here’s a shot I wanted to share taken from evening hill.
Event photographer – Standon Calling Festival – Havana Club
This was my visit first to the music festival Standon Calling. I was commissioned as an event photographer on behalf of the drinks brand Havana Club. They were hosting an event within the festival and required coverage on the Sunday evening.
The brief included capturing the atmosphere and people having fun, artists performing, branding and general production. During the night the Havana Club staff handed out hats and shakers which contained rice for people to use as percussion with the music.
I really enjoyed photographing the event, it was allot of fun with many of the people into the spirit of the festival dressing up in alsorts of costumes! Cool people and great atmosphere.

Baby photography – newborn baby Millie’s first photo shoot
I met baby Millie a few weeks ago when she was only 4 days old. I was honoured to have the opportunity to photograph her so new to the world. Newborn babies are so cute, just love their little hands and feet.
Michaela had not been out of hospital long, so we arranged the shoot in the comfort of her home, natural and relaxed I find using the simplest of setups, on a bed, sofa or even a kitchen table allows for great locations in the home with no need for complex studio equipment.
After spending about an hour photographing Millie, in between a feed and cuddles from her Mom, we managed to capture her baby cuteness.

Bump photography – maternity and new born photographer in Dorset
I met up with Sarah at her friends home in the New Forest in Hampshire to take some ‘bump’ photos for her. Sarah is expecting her second child, her Son Jayden was also able to make an appearance. She did not have any taken when she was pregnant previously and really wanted to have some done this time round, documenting the special time of pregnancy.
By arranging to do the shoot in relaxed surroundings it allows everyone taking part to enjoy themselves and no need to travel to a studio.
It was a pleasure to do the shoot, I think Sarah looks beautiful and glowing like an expectant mother should

Festival photographer – Global Gathering UK 2011 music festival
I was invited back as an official photographer for the Global Gathering music festival this year. It’s always allot of fun to photograph with so much going on, great atmosphere and fun people to photograph.
The brief was to capture the key elements of the event, artists, production, atmosphere and anything that catches my eye. During the event I provide an on site editing service for immediate upload to the official website and for press use. Through various digital post production techniques, the images are enhanced and given a creative finish.
Throughout the 2 day festival I opted to use no camera flash, maximising on capturing the true atmosphere of the event and all its colour.
