The sky's the limit…
With a digital camera there is no traditional film roll which allows the photographer and the client more freedom, as the photography is not limited by the number of shots on a roll of film, and therefore more potential.
Show us what you've got…
With digital photography the client can view the images as they are taken and as well as making it easier for them to suggest changes it allows the photographer to make changes as he sees fit – saving time, money and resources.
Lightening speed…
A shoot can be downloaded in seconds and sent via e-mail or other electronic means, in a matter of minutes. If a disk of the shoot is required, then this can even be done on site immediately after the shoot. No waiting for film development and scanning.
The digital darkroom…
From minor changes in lighting to specially created effects giving finished images a unique signature; digital technology makes it possible for the photographer to easily manipulate the image to the client's specification in order to create a truly original image.
e-friendly…
The internet thrives on digital photography and imagery and no format suits it better. Images can be easily formatted or re-sized for different needs and standard ‘scenery' images can be effortlessly delivered to specification.
The good old days…
Clients can rest assured that should they require hard copies of any images, for framing or mounting, they can be supplied. Given that such a high resolution camera is used the images can be enlarged and processed whilst retaining their clarity.
The media's need for speed…
Today journalists and press officers require images and information to be available to them as soon as possible and at all times of day - many will not wait for a courier. When deadlines are tight and exposure is paramount digital photographs can be the deal-breaker of a Press Kit.
Digital images can be placed on web sites for download or they can be sent directly as attachments or as links to a gallery of relevant imagery. This saves time not only for the client but the journalist or press officer will be grateful that they can access the imagery they need sooner rather than later.
Cutting the cost…
Digital photography involves no processing costs and images can be sent around the world at the click of a button, unlike waiting for developing, contact sheets, scanning and finally a further, costly, wait for a courier to deliver.
